Nathan Archer - Biography

Nathan Archer’s love for photography started when he inherited his grandfather's camera at age twelve. As Nathan grew up, he practised his skills at formal events and eventually shot his first wedding.
Born in Perth Western Australia, Nathan decided to travel the world in 2002, capturing beautiful landscapes such as the Grand Canyon and Slovakian Forest, as well as the exciting London lights and the historical city of Prague. He studied for several months in the Czech Republic with the well respected photographer Jaroslav Bengl, broadening his knowledge and experience. Now residing back in Perth, Nathan enjoys shooting a vast array of photographs which include weddings, portraits, real estate and commercial photography, as well as the ever impressive WA landscapes. |

| A Note from Nathan:
What I love about photography is no matter what the assignment or subject is, the product (the photos) do not exist when we begin. Photography is about creating. When all the elements come togehter, the subject, the setting, the light and the choice of camera settings, something beautiful is created.
My mentor in the Czech Repuclis says; "Photographers dont take pictures, we make pictures..."

| Nathan has travelled Europe, Asia, New Zealand and the United States, capturing the unique beauty of each country through his photography.Nathan has travelled the world, capturing amazing images in 26 different countries, spending a large amount of time in Eastern Europe, the UK and the United States. Nathan has also journeyed New Zealand's south island to capture the breathtaking mountains, glaciers and tropical forestry. His most recent expedition includes the West Australian coast line and Karijini National Park. |
